Katiba Institute (KI) has written to the County Pension Fund and the Parliamentary Service Commission(PSC) seeking information concerning the agreement between the County Pension Fund and Homabay County. This request is under Article 35 of the Constitution and the Access to Information Act Cap: 7 M, Laws of Kenya.

In a letter dated 12 March 2025, KI sought the following information from the County Pension Fund (CPF):

1. A copy of all agreements between the County Pension Fund and Homabay County headquarters on land parcel Kanyada/ Kanyabala/ 3537.
2. Any financial report on the progress made since the signing of the agreement, including financial expenditure incurred by the County Pension Fund to date.
3. A copy of all approvals granted by the County Assembly of Homabay in relation to the construction of the county headquarters.
4. A copy of all approvals granted by national-level institutions or agencies in relation to the construction of the county headquarters.
5. A copy of any other report prepared with respect to the implementation of the project.
