Katiba Institute (KI) seeks the services of a Litigation Counsel. The Litigation Counsel will represent KI and other parties or individuals in Court and/or tribunals, provide legal advice to members of the public, and support local organisations, communities, and community partners through capacity building. Additionally, the Litigation Counsel will provide technical and other support to civil society partners. The Counsel will be expected to conduct research on constitutional matters, share research findings with stakeholders at relevant meetings and workshops in Kenya, and develop and litigate strategic cases on behalf of KI.
